In-game overlay, sharper screen sharing and more Falafy+
A big release, with lots of things the community asked for. The desktop app updates itself; the web version is already up to date.
Sharper screen sharing
A sharper, more stable picture, and you choose the priority: sharpness, for text and code, or smoothness, for games.
Per-app stream audio
In the Windows app, stream only the game's sound or exclude apps from the audio, like another voice chat.
More stable calls
We fixed people connecting and disconnecting over and over in calls, sound repeating and the right-click menu flickering. In chat, line breaks in messages and announcements are fixed too.
Clip the last 30 seconds
One button (or Alt+C) saves the last 30 seconds of the stream you're watching to your computer. With Falafy+ and for Founders.
More Falafy+ extras
Exclusive themes, a custom join sound in voice channels and up to 4 screens at once. See what each plan includes.
Lifetime Founder and Support the server
Lifetime Founder is a one-time payment, in a limited edition, with Falafy+ forever and an exclusive badge. With "Support the server", you help pay for Falafy's servers with the amount you choose and get the Supporter badge.
Browse channels
See all of a server's channels and choose which ones to join or leave, so your list only shows what matters to you.
Text, images and data saving
Hide media, turn link previews on or off and turn on mobile data saver.
Groups and direct messages
Add people to groups, with a group owner and nicknames, and ignore anyone you want. Direct messages from people who aren't your friends arrive with a safety warning and blurred media.
Coming soon: Falafy Shop
The Falafy Shop is on its way, with visual items for your profile. The first collection will be Pumpkin Night. The cosmetics that already exist stay free for everyone.
