Share your whole screen or just the game window at up to 1080p60, no subscription needed. On Windows, your PC audio comes along and the call's voices don't echo back through the stream.
Webcam with background blur
Up to 6 cameras per room at 720p. Blur hides your bedroom or office, and your camera always starts off.
Watch Together
YouTube videos synced for everyone in the call, with a queue. One person pauses, everyone pauses. In beta.
Stage for events

Yes. Falafy is completely free, with no ads and no subscription. Servers, text and voice channels, 1080p60 screen sharing, webcam, Maximum noise suppression, profiles and badges are unlocked for everyone.

Yes, for anyone looking for an app similar to Discord: servers, text and voice channels, roles, invite links and screen sharing. Falafy is an independent Brazilian project built from scratch, and it is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by or endorsed by Discord Inc. See the full comparison.
Can I share my screen with sound?
Yes. You can share your whole screen or a single window at up to 1080p60, for free. In the Windows app, the stream includes your PC audio.
Is there a webcam with background blur?
Yes. Up to 6 cameras per room at 720p, with background blur to hide a messy bedroom or office. Your camera always starts off.
How does Falafy remove background noise from my mic?
Noise suppression runs on your own device and has three levels: Light, Balanced and Maximum. The "Test microphone" button lets you hear the difference with and without the filter before you join the call.
Does it run on a low-end PC or laptop?
Yes. Falafy measures how powerful your PC is and recommends a performance profile (Light, Balanced or Maximum), which you can change at any time. On a laptop running on battery, battery saver kicks in automatically.
Does it work on phones and iPhone?
Yes, in the browser at falafy.com.br/app. On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share and then "Add to Home Screen": Falafy becomes an icon, with voice and notifications. There is no app in the app stores yet.
Is the app available in other languages?
Yes. Falafy is available in 14 languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Indonesian, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Arabic. The first time, it follows your system language, and you can switch whenever you like in Settings > Language.
Is Falafy available for Linux and Mac?
For Linux, yes: there is an AppImage and a .deb package on the Download page. For Mac, too: there is a .dmg for Apple silicon Macs and another for Intel (macOS 11 or later) on the same page. The app is not notarized by Apple yet, and the page explains how to open it the first time.
Does it work for work teams?
Yes. Topic channels, always-open voice rooms, screen sharing, a Notes channel the team edits together, roles and permissions, with no per-user cost. See Falafy for teams.
